i saw the fall last night. i was interested in it when i heard about it but other people talking about it doesnt do it any real justice. it wasnt what i expected.. it was better. with all visual elements aside, the story alone is beautiful. it maintained a careful balance of epic fantasy and well grounded story telling. there is my review. heh. i need to trust God more. i am where i am, and i know where i want to be and where i do not, and i am doing the best i can to do what is right. it's a wonder how all of us, despite all of our imperfections, manage to still be a part of some perfect good plan. how can there be so many coincidences? things so easily explained away..the fact that somehow he has a bigger perfect plan...that will work out despite how much we "screw" things up...is comforting. even in its difficulties. |

| found this! i dunno if i know if anyone is even on here anymore. excellent. i wish it was sweater weather again. well! i got into a car accident today on the way back to work downtown. some lady felt compelled to cut into my lane, regardless of the fact that i was there, and totally took out my right front bumper. after i got her info she just hopped back into her white wagon of death and drove away. luckily it was not my fault. kind of strange waiting for the cops to show up while some homeless man was yelling at me to move my car. ha. speaking of, i had a wonderful encounter the other night when my bro came into town and i took him to the flying saucer. we were walking down by bass and at the other end of the sidewalk was this homeless guy with a towel over his head and a very long and big piece of white pvc pipe in one hand, and a bottle of some choice liquor in the other, holding the pipe like a freaking gatling gun at us yelling. hah, my bro totally went up and shook the guys hand, which i think totally threw him off guard, and he mumbled something and went away. later that night he showed me how to load a gun.... in my car... on the street. oh the benefits of having a brother cop. |
